What at weekend!!

This past Saturday my friends, Froggiegirl and Gimlet, were married!!!! I was one of five bridesmaids! It was a beautiful ceremony and went off without a hitch, unless you count the time the priest called Gimlet by his last name that is. Froggiegirl was glowing, she had this amazing aura around her, and the smile she had on her face as she walked down the aisle to Gimlet was priceless. Gimlet also looked studyly in his tux, and the expression on his face as his future bride strolled down the aisle with her father was timeless. The day was a gorgeous one, the sun was shinning and it wasn't too hot for picture taking in Forest Park. After the wedding, we got to ride in a SUV limo- tons of fun by the way- I love champagne!!- and headed to Forest Park. We took pictures on the stone bridge and the stones near it. We also took pics at some gate...can't remember its name at the moment. I have never had my picture taken so many times in my life!! We got to do a jump shot (where everybody jumped in the air on the count of three for the camera guy), and a coupla goofy shots. I soo can not wait to see them. Gimlet and Froggiegirl are soooo well matched and make a marvelous couple!! Merc Man and Mrs. Merc Man were on hand to witness the momentous occasion. Gimelt is their son, and now Froggiegirl is their daughter-in-law. Froggiegirl couldn't have asked for nicer or cooler in-laws. Mr. Merc Man and Mrs. Merc Man rock! Grandma Merc Man also rocks! Congratulations to the new couple!! While the happy newlyweds honeymoon in Jamaica, I am chinchilla-sitting their precious babies; Roo, Schoompy, Sully, and mischievious Fipsy. So far everything is going great. Hopefully the weather is cooperating in Jamaica and Froggiegirl & Gimlet are having a blast! Ten cuidado mis amigos y diverta!! (Be careful and have fun!!)

South County Bear also rocks!! Froggiegirl and Gimlet could not ask for a better friend. With all the love and support of family and friends last Saturday, there was no way the day could have been any less than perfect!
